She still had a hard time realizing that she was now in a Zombie Apocalypse. After all this is Christmas, so she turned around to help them, even though they didn't want her help.
This is the second episode in the series of Me VS Zombies.

Summer is now on land once again and needs to get to the place her Boyfriend told her go. Sh starts to miss her old life. Her roach infested apartment and waitress at a local diner. She then realizes she has to eat and there is no one to help her. Should she stay with the few people she just met or go off on her own?
The Zombie Apocalypse is here and Summer needs to adapt.

Christmas is Sharon's favorite time of time of year. Family and friends come together, along with a few unwanted Zombies. Though Sharon lives in the south, she looks forward to Christmas every year. She has 3 passions, Love of God, Love of Animals and the Love of Writitng. She has traveled throughout the USA and is able to set her characters in the perfect location. Didn't Really Like the Main Character

Me vs Zombies So This is Christmas follows a girl as she basically talks to herself and walks around in the aftermath of a zombie outbreak. She gives away a fair bit of what she had previously been up to on a boat, I imagine from the first book in the series. You don't need to have read that (I haven't) to understand this one but I assumed a fair few spoilers were given away. I initially assumed she was younger but about half way through the book she gets involved in a bit of full blown porn novel action so I hoped I was just mistaken and just adjusted her age in my head. I found her to be a bit of an annoying character though in her over confidence in her abilities to avoid or combat zombies, that got other people killed, and risked the lives of others having to save her. If she had learnt from these experiences I might have liked her more but she doesn't seem to or feel much accountability. Pretty much your standard zombie vs survivor action on the pages, there wasn't really anything added to the genre by this one.

There's a couple of typos every now and then if that sort of thing bothers you. It's easy to work out what the author meant to type though, I don't really care about such things but to some that's an issue, and they are in here.

The book had good content, but was all over the place and hard to follow. I don't feel that it came to a solid conclusion to answer the question at the beginning of the book very well either.

Tal vez ¨Empezar de nuevo¨ no engrose la lista de los llamados ¨clásicos literarios¨ pero sin duda alguna es un libro para recomendar pues tiene todos los ingredientes que necesita una novela para que te atrape hasta la última página.
Keats teje una historia de amor madura y dulce en un entramado exquisito de infinitas sensaciones: crudeza, miedo, alegria, dolor, terquedad, instinto y esperanza!!!
Con una narracion colorida y generosa describe de manera detallada un pais maravilloso vital pero tambien herido hasta sus entrañas. Siguiendo ese estilo literario da vida a personajes entrañables y profundos.

He leído los 3 libros de la autora que encontré disponibles, son muy frescos y de fácil lectura. La impresión es la misma los personajes principales tienen la mismas características y temores en el fondo.
Pero me encanta la forma como recrea escenarios, que podrían ser de la vida real y los personajes terminan teniendo vida propia. Aunque el final es muy romántico también es predecible, alguien desaparece.
Para mí la mejor es «Algo más que vecinos»

Anne Carson's Autobiography of Red is a novel in verse, the author's first. A classicist by profession as well as a poet, Carson has drawn on antiquity for her cast, updating the myth of Geryon and Herakles. In the original version, of course, Herakles killed the red-skinned, winged Geryon. In Carson's very contemporary retelling, he merely inspires, but does not return, the monster's passion. By choosing Geryon as her central character, Carson can bring up the questions of existence as if they hadn't been asked before. After all, the monster's instincts have not been numbed by civilization. Fires twist through him. We feel the pain of learning the most elementary things, and then the volcanic intensity that comes with that more advanced thing, love. Yet Carson doesn't so much tell the story of Geryon's love as mediate his very being through semiological surfaces: cafes, video stores, lipstick, a library where he shelves government documents with a "forlorn austerity, / tall and hushed in their ranges as veterans of a forgotten war." Carson seldom satisfies herself with an image of the world. Instead she atomizes the world, leaving it broken down, refracted, and glinting. At times her verbal pyrotechnics manage to render pure energy: A little button at the end of each range activated the fluorescent track above it.

Wistful yet whimsical, offhand yet intense, funky yet erudite (Carson, a classics professor at McGill, grounds this work in ancient Greek myth), this is a reading experience like no other.

The title says autobiography; the subtitle, novel; and an inner title page reads "A Romance." Go with the last, for Carson recasts the Greek legend of Geryon, the red, winged monster that Herakles killed during his tenth labor. Names, wings, and some mythical details remain, but the setting is contemporary. Geryon, 14, meets Herakles, 16, and it's love at first sight. Life separates them, but they meet again when Geryon, now 22, literally runs into Herakles in Buenos Aires. Herakles and a colleague (and lover), scouting volcanoes for a film, whisk Geryon to the Andes, where his wings may cause him to be taken for an immortal. There the story breaks off. The start of another fantasy trilogy? Hardly, for although we know the story's end, it is not in the source, an ancient poem that now exists only in fragments. Instead, Carson interviews the poet, Stesichoros (circa 630^-555 B.C.), about his vision (he may have been blinded by Helen of Troy). Narratively, philosophically, humorously, a dazzling performance. Both Poetry and Prose

This is poetry, in that it is beautiful and uses words ever-so carefully, but this is prose, in that it reads as easily as a novel and tells an engaging story. Geryon is a wonderfully-precise protagonist, going through his adventures with a quiet endurance and an energetic attachment to them. He has something of the quality of a Franz Kafka, a Michael Stipe, or an Angela Chase, but he's not so broodingly self-absorbed; rather, he's observant and thoughtful about the world around him. If the early-90s alternative rock movement had been more attentive and less despairing, it would have sounded something like this book, and would have taken a bigger audience.
The framing prose, inventing some poetic fragments of an ancient Greek poet, asks us to look at the story-telling, as a parable of history-making, and makes us sensitive to the way the book uses language. If the book made me think about its construction as a book, though, it didn't keep me from reading it as a great story.

"Autobiography of Red" is the story of Geryon, a young boy with red skin and large wings, who grows into a young man. He is in love with Herakles, a young man who seems to return Geryon's affection, but is actually quite cruel in his fickleness. The two encounter each other on and off over the years, Geryon seeking love, Herakles seeking adventure. Their paths eventually cross in Buenos Aires, of all places, where Herakles is with another young man, Ancash, recording the sounds of various volcanos. The three venture through South America together, the tension between the three of them almost palpable, at least to the more sensitive two of the group, Ancash and Geryon. It is here that the three must decide on the nature of their friendship, and Geryon on the nature of his life.
This book is written in poetic free verse, and Ann Carson's style is nothing less than magical. It might seem difficult for readers accustomed to straightforward prose, but if one lets the words wash over them, their meaning will all be clear soon enough, and their beauty alone will convince the reader of their merit. The story is based on Greek myth, but rather than Herakles killing Geryon the monster literally, he "kills" by breaking his heart. Ultimately, the book's message seems to be that Geryon must learn to love himself first. The book is beautifully written, and cannot be recommended highly enough, to any reader who wants to read a delicate story in a challenging format.

The research materials on the life of Pope Joan is good but I believe there are more materials on her life that need to come out. I saw the movie version on her life and there were some areas on her life that do not match which makes me conclude we only see and read what they want us to see. The church always denies there was ever a female Pope. So what materials are still in the dark room ?
