Gasp

Love the insight to characters that weren't explored before. Lots of teases for where the series is going with out giving too much away. This novella really makes you question if you know what you think you "know" about what is going on in Hell- and exactly who is involved. I loved the fact that Lainey was so far from who she's perceived to be; and that Warwick is even more screwed up than previous thought. Cleverly written and thought put by Abigail Boyd who stuck the perfect balance of revealing important information about "background" characters while not giving too much away.

Don't read until you've read the other 4 - it spoils the surprise of book 4

Kinda thinking I should have left this for after I finished book 4, because it took away the mystery surrounding the love interest. Now I know for certain he's not what I think he is - but that was one of the main things I was enjoying about this series: the 'is he or isn't he?' aspect. But that's not the author's fault. She published this after the series had finished; I just read this out of order. I definitely enjoyed seeing these other characters beyond the narrator's POV.

The series was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed getting the additional back story of different characters. Is it selfish to say that I want more?
